Morning Roundups Can Be a Challenge!
At the break of dawn in all kinds of weather the wranglers report to the corral, saddle up their horses for the day, and then head to the pasture to round up the horse herd.
Their task is to find ALL of the horses and then drive them up the road to the corral for grain and to get them ready for the guest rides. Some mornings are easier than others, as the herd is waiting at the gate eager for their corn treat. However, some of the horses become harder to find as the summer weeks go by and the days become hotter. Just think about how many trees and ravines in the wilderness that can provide a hiding place for these renegades!
Horses heading to the corral to begin their day's work... " Where, oh where, can those horses be hiding?"
